On February 28, a problem with Amazon Web Services caused access problems for many internet services, including Canvas. These problems have been resolved.

We recommend that you clear your web browser's cache (instructions for PC and Mac), quit your browser, and then log back into Canvas. This will remove any residual data that might give the appearance that the outage persists. For more information, visit the Canvas at Penn blog (
