Lecturer in Foreign Languages
Spanish 0400 Coordinator

I have a BA degree in Spanish Linguistics and Hispanic Literature, a BA in Italian Linguistics and Literature by the University of Salamanca, Spain, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Translation Studies by the University on Warwick, U.K.

I was awarded a SAS Language Teaching Innovation Grant for the development of Medical Spanish Videos and also The Romance Languages Department Best Coordinator Award.

I have been the Spanish 0400 (Intermediate Spanish) coordinator for a number of years, and I have taught Spanish 0210, 0300, 0400, 1000, 1200, and Medical Spanish for the department, as well as Medical Spanish at the Perelman School of Medicine and Spanish for Veterinarians at the Veterinary School.

My academic interests are in two different fields at this moment. The integration of technology in the foreign language curriculum and intercultural competence.
