Aditya Bhattacharjee

Born in Bombay, India and raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Aditya discovered an academic interest in South and Southeast Asian civilization while pursuing BA and MA degrees in Religious Studies at McGill University, Montreal.  He is a fluent speaker of Hindi, French and Bengali and has studied Sanskrit for a number of years at McGill and at the American Institute of Indian Studies' (AIIS) Pune Center.  Currently, he is interested in investigating interrelatedness between Hinduism and Buddhism in both pre-modern and contemporary Thai religion.  Additionally, he is continuting to improve his skills in speaking, reading and writing Tamil and Thai.
