Penn undergraduate students can choose from courses on campus in Philadelphia, log into online courses or travel abroad with Penn faculty. Regardless of the format you choose, all programs earn Penn academic credit.
Penn Summer On-Campus
There are three academic sessions during Penn Summer On-Campus, and more than 300 courses are offered from academic departments across the university. Flexible day and evening classes are offered to fit your schedule and needs.
Penn Summer Online
Not going to be in Philadelphia this summer? Consider taking one of our Penn Summer Online courses. Online courses allow you to earn credit as you participate in real-time with your Penn instructor and peers while having 24/7 access to your virtual learning materials.
Penn Summer Abroad
Earn Penn credit as you experience culture in another country with Penn Summer Abroad. Travel with Penn faculty and other undergraduates with your accommodations and excursions planned for you. Enjoy the flexibility of a short-term commitment and make the most of your summer break.
Current Penn students are encouraged to take advantage of advising resources during the summer term in the same manner as during the fall and spring. Before enrolling in summer courses, it is highly recommended that a consultation is made with your academic advisor regarding your intended coursework to ensure adequate degree progress.
