Welcome to Chem 501
Class has been very interesting, it is
great getting to know everyone
in the Cohort.
At first it seemed a little overwhelming,
the POGILs definitly seemed
to be winning the battle! However by the end of the week in our
review session of practice
problems for Quiz 1 I am feeling pretty good. I would say confident but I don't want to
jinx myself!
Valence elctrons and Lewis structures
have kept us all ammused over
this first week and I won't even mention the excitement caused by the
Arrhenius Equation!! The amount of Potential Energy in the room
definitely increased after that lesson.
