| My name is Wendy Wong, and I have assembled this webpage as part of the requirement of the Masters of Integrated Science Education (MISE) program at the University of Pennsylvania. I began the program after the completion of my third year of teaching, during the summer of 2006 with Cohort 2, and I will complete the program this winter of 2009 with Cohort 3. e-portfolio
is a compilation of my growth as a learner, educator, and teacher
leader. Through my participation at the Science Teacher
Institute, my
science content knowledge has increased, my teaching style has included
newly acquired techniques, and I have gained the confidence to partake
in various leadership activities in my district. Though I have

growth in these areas and evolved during my enrollment at UPenn, I
