Wendy Wong's
E-Portfolio
My collection of evidence shows my growth as an educator, learner, and leader.  I believe that in order to be an effective educator, I must continue my education, stay current in the profession, and develop best practices in the craft.  It is through professional development and continual education that I may stay current in the field of education.  Because science is constantly changing, it is even more important to stay current in this subject area and understand how new findings in science affect education.  While I was enrolled in the MISE program, I have utilized what I learned to serve in my district's  K-12 science curriculum develpoment committee and created new unit plans that I have shared with my grade level partners.  The eleven STI rubric areas have been mastered as evidenced by my work in the courses I have taken as a participant.
