Marisa Kozlowski Receives 2023 Edward Leete Award from ACS

Marisa Kozlowski

Marisa Kozlowski, a professor in the Department of Chemistry, has been named the recipient of the 2023 Edward Leete Award from the American Chemical Society Division of Organic Chemistry. This program was started in 1995 to “recognize outstanding contributions to teaching and research in organic chemistry.”

Kozlowski, who has been part of Penn Arts & Sciences faculty for more than 25 years, researches the development of new catalytic methods for efficient organic synthesis using computation and high-throughput screening. In 2023, she also received the Provost Award for Ph.D. Teaching and Mentoring. She has authored more than 180 publications and is currently Editor in Chief of Organic Letters.
