2-Day Workshops for High School Chemistry Teachers
- The Penn STI Workshops focus on chemistry content, and each will be a combination of discussion, labs/demos, group work and may also include brief pre- and post-assessments of common misconceptions. Participants will have time to share teaching/learning strategies and continue this discussion over the next academic year via an on-line group established for each workshop.
- The Penn STI Workshops are co-developed and co-presented by a Penn Chemist and a graduate of the Master of Chemistry Education (MCE) Program. You get the best of both worlds -- a perspective from a state-of-the-art research chemist and an exemplary high school chemistry teacher.
- The Penn STI Workshops are partially funded by The Camille and Henry Dreyfus Foundation and the Penn STI.
